POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Sales Operation Manager for Amphenol Highspeed IO business unit supports the Sales Operation team in executing marketing and business strategies, driving customer satisfaction, and supporting the development of key customer accounts. This position plays a dual role as both a customer advocates the voice of the customer within the organization—and a representative of Amphenol’s brand externally, ensuring exceptional service and communication.
The role involves assisting in strategic planning, coordinating account management activities, managing customer demand, analyzing and presenting forecast and market data, and supporting process improvements that enhance business performance. The ideal candidate is outgoing, detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment.

|
- Assist the Marketing Manager in executing marketing priorities and supporting the development of strategies that align with organizational goals. Contribute to the creation of new tools and processes to improve forecasting, presentations, and overall marketing efficiency.

Team Support & Coaching
|
- Support and help oversee the daily activities of the Account Management team. Coach and motivate team members to achieve performance targets and deliver excellent customer experience.

Customer Advocacy
|
- Serve as a bridge between customers and Amphenol, ensuring customer needs and feedback are effectively communicated across departments. Represent Amphenol professionally to customers and resolve delivery, quality, inventory, and demand issues in an international, time-sensitive environment.

Forecasting & Data Analysis
|
- Support forecasting activities by compiling, analyzing, and presenting market and demand data. Prepare detailed presentations for internal stakeholders and senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and trends.

Account Coordination
|
- Assist in managing key customer accounts, supporting Account Managers with strategic plans, meeting preparation, and follow-ups. Maintain up-to-date records of customer activities, sales data, and forecasts in QAD and Excel.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
|
- Partner with Sales and Product Management teams on RFQ preparation, proposal development, and live negotiations. Contribute to initiatives that maximize market share and profit margins.

Performance Measurement & Reporting
|
- Track and report performance metrics, progress against objectives, and customer feedback. Provide actionable insights and support leadership in achieving annual marketing and revenue goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Experience in electronic components industry is a strong asset
- 5+ years experience in account management, sales or business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in demand planning tools, CRM systems, and excel.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage cross-functional projects.
- Ability to travel up to 20% to meet with customers and teams across different locations.

The base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $130,000 annually. In determining the rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits, vacation, sick leave, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and membership in our Defined Contribution Pension Plan.
