We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QAD Functional Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve QAD usage and business process issues while helping users effectively perform ERP processes within the QAD application. This position focuses on functional application support rather than back-end technical administration, coding, server architecture, or system performance management.
Reporting to the Global ERP Operations Manager, the QAD Functional Analyst will provide day-to-day functional support and operational assistance for ERP users through the QAD ERP front-end interfaces and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
Functional QAD Application Support:
  • Provide day-to-day functional support for QAD ERP users, responding to inquiries, investigating issues, and resolving usage or process-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Assist users in navigating QAD ERP front-end interfaces and tools, helping them understand how business processes are performed within the application.
  • Application Support & Updates:
  • Support effective use of the QAD ERP application by identifying user issues, documenting patterns, and escalating vendor-managed system or performance concerns as appropriate.
  • Assist with user readiness, testing, and communication related to QAD updates, patches, or changes that affect business users.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and the QAD vendor when application issues require technical escalation or vendor support.
Issue Diagnosis & Resolution:
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve ERP application issues related to QAD functionality, user transactions, business process execution, or integration impacts.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex issues as required.
User Training & Documentation:
  • Provide training sessions and create documentation for end users to ensure they are proficient in using QAD ERP.
  • Create and update user guides, FAQs, and other documentation to enhance user experience.
Customization & Enhancement Support:
  • Assist business users in identifying when a process issue may require a customization or enhancement, including gathering functional details and documenting the business need.
  • Partner with the enhancements team, business analysts, and developers by providing functional context while the enhancements team drives customization, configuration, and development activities.
System Integration & Interfaces:
  • Assist with the integration of QAD ERP with other internal systems or third-party applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues between systems and data exchange.
Reporting & Data Management:
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and queries to support decision-making.
  • Ensure data integrity within the QAD system.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
  • Work closely with business units to understand requirements and implement solutions to optimize business processes.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements related to QAD ERP usage.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience supporting users in an ERP system, preferably QAD.
• Functional knowledge of ERP business processes and experience learning how those processes are performed in QAD modules such as Manufacturing, Distribution, or Financials.
• Ability to translate user-reported issues into clear functional requirements, documentation, or escalation details for technical teams, vendors, or enhancement resources.
• Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., API, middleware, EDI).

Personal Attributes:
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on user satisfaction.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
