Senior Technical Sourcing Specialist
Location: Nashua, NH
Position Summary:
The ideal candidate would combine strategic sourcing expertise with a solid understanding of engineered components and manufacturing processes. Experience with PCBs, metal and plastic prototyping methods, quick turnaround tooling, service agreements, vendor selection, and negotiations is critical to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in design reviews with global engineering teams.
- Obtain supplier quotations, lead times, and manufacturing feedback.
- Prepare quotation summaries and track project spending.
- Coordinate DFM reviews, sample deliveries, and production schedules.
- Support suppliers through First Article Inspection (FAI) approval.
- Evaluate and qualify new suppliers.
- Negotiate annual cost reductions and identify value-engineering opportunities.
- Monitor supplier cost, quality, delivery, and technical performance.
- Participate to qualify new vendor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, Manufacturing, Optoelectronics, or a related engineering field.
- 5 or more years of sourcing, procurement, or supplier-development experience.
- Experience with connectors, cable assemblies, optical modules, or precision electronic components.
- Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and understand GD&T.
- Knowledge of stamping, injection moulding, electroplating, machining, tooling, or automated assembly.
- Strong cost-analysis, negotiation, supplier-management, and cross-functional communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in communication connectors, switches, or optical communications.
- Basic understanding of high-speed signal testing (VNA, TDR) or environmental reliability testing is a plus.
