Position: Marketing Specialist

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Marketing Specialist will serve as the primary interface between the customer and Amphenol for a specific program's order related activities and inquiries. This role will also be taking on special projects as required. The Marketing Specialist will work closely with Field Sales, Product Marketing teams and global operations teams to coordinate and meet the customer's demands, as well as coordinating in the progress of assigned projects.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely, accurate communication on all price and product availability requests.
- Receive and process customer orders on a timely basis, understand the specific product and shipping requirements, and provide internal demand to global operations sites. Will need to process all types of orders as instructed or access a customer's online site to pull orders.
- Thorough understanding of on-time delivery requirements and performance measurement criteria of focused accounts. Demonstrate effective order management skills allowing CBS to attain preferred supplier ratings at such accounts.
- Monitor orders status and provide updates to customers on a regular basis. Proactively work with internal teams on any potential risk of overdue. Provide prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries regarding such orders, shipments and invoice statuses.
- Assist in the collection of receivables and resolve disputed invoices/open adjustments by working with customer's buyers and Finance; provide monthly and quarterly customer program shipment summary and analysis.
- Communicate and interface with Product Marketing and Field Sales to share all information regarding any customer issues.
- Effectively utilize all resources to meet and exceed customer expectations where standard procedures may fall short.
- Project a positive image of the business and the customer service function to our customers and other employees.
- Act as primary contact with customers and internal functional teams for assigned projects and closely report and monitor the progress of projects and driven to closure to meet internal and external timeline.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a technical discipline; or an equivalent training and at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Must be thorough with a strong attention to detail and willing to follow up.
- Ability to work with a global, cross functional team.
- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP Systems.
- Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
