Position: Human Resources Administrative Assistant
Location: Etters, PA
Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant to join our Cable Backplane Connector team. The position will be located in Etters, PA.
Amphenol's High speed cable backplane systems enable most of the world's IT and datacom; including leading the way for the AI/ML revolution; and require some of the most advanced manufacturing technologies, and highest levels of precision, in the engineering world.
Responsibilities:
- Professionally represent the company with a strong customer focus and entrepreneurial mindset
- Maintain confidentiality in interactions with employees and managers
- Provide support in all aspects for the Human Resources team, across multiple locations
- Handle new hire sheets and termination PAFs for CBS in a timely manner
- Handle spot bonus requests, approvals and submissions to payroll
- Book travel and track travel for supported group
- Lead employee events and recognition programs, including service milestone program
- Support local meetings and visitors as needed
- Serve as primary contact for vendors and reconcile and submit, document and pay monthly invoices
- Ensure data integrity with multiple systems and complete periodic data projects
- Support new hire processes as needed
- Assist with snack / coffee / office supply ordering and distribution
- Handle employee communications, organization announcements, organization chart support, bulletin boards and display monitors
- Keep inventory on company-branded items
- Send flowers and other small gifts as congratulations or condolences to employees
- Manage other programs/projects as assigned, including data/tracking projects
- Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Be the problem-solver and remain comfortable with new tasks as they arise, while keeping a focus on the customer
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an administrative role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to handle confidential information, multi-task and show a strong attention to detail
- Strong problem solving, customer service, communication and organization skills
- Proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, and ability to learn new computer applications
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with all levels of the organization
