Position: Production Planner
Location: Hampton, NH

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planning and scheduling workflow for assigned production plant and operation according to routing sequences and lead time.
- Interfaces with Purchasing, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Service to coordinate the shipping schedule.
- Coordinate with production employees and MFG Engineer for shop floor activities, select alternative methods / process to meet overall schedules, and improve efficiency in Manufacturing.
- Schedules, expedites, and coordinates the delivery and movement of critical material, including material transfers and material deviation releases.
- Release plating and secondary orders as needed.
- Working with MRP and thruput module to produce accurate schedule for assigned product lines.
- Releases production orders commensurate with inventory goals, cost objectives, and production capacity.
- Ensures all parties are fully cognizant of production status, and that work planning and execution objectives are integrated and communicated.
- Familiarity with the workings of MRP and capacity planning a plus.
- Assist operation manager for labor reporting and other shop floor related duties.
- Improve transportation program by optimizing freight cost, expedite cost, and delivery to meet customer requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in materials management or related field
- Two (2) to five (5) years related experience
- Microsoft AX experience is a plus
- Must be fully proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel
- Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills
