Position: Capital/Fixed Asset Analyst

Location: Valley Green, PA

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally and are currently seeking a Capital/Fixed Asset Analyst to join our Cable Backplane Systems team located in Valley Green, PA.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review monthly capital spend and customer re-imbursements
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly capex spend and depreciation
  • Manage consolidation of assets from multiple ERP systems to form global asset register
  • Create capital tracker based on customer and program
  • Manage and review monthly amortization of customer re-imbursements
  • Review capital expenditure (CapEx) requests and determine appropriate capitalization treatment.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation for audits.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting policies, and internal controls.
  • Assist with property tax filings, asset inventories, and physical asset verification activities.
  • Support SOX compliance requirements related to fixed asset processes and controls.
  • Analyze asset utilization, depreciation trends, and capital investment performance.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in fixed asset accounting.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics related to capital spending and asset management.
  • Participate in ERP enhancements and system implementations affecting fixed asset accounting.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting and depreciation methodologies.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including PivotTables, lookups, and financial analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
