Position Summary: Field Applications Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
ACS, a division within Amphenol, is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Datacom, Cloud Infrastructure & Consumer markets (Servers, Storage, Switches, Power Architecture, Notebook, Gaming etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. We are currently seeking a Field Applications Engineer to join our team. The position will be located remotely in Seattle, WA.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Advise customers on how to solve complex interconnect problems
- Be the lead engineering resource on the sales team, leading technical aspects of the sales cycle
- Provide deep technical marketing support for the development and implementation of Amphenol products
- Help devise strategies to differentiate our products and solutions from our competitors
- Provide customer service to solve complex interconnect problems and technical inquiries
- Be seen as an expert in the field - meaning customers gain real value through their interactions
- Prepare materials and participate in product presentations
- Meet and exceed strategic objectives
- Travel will be required

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's in engineering
- Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science preferred
- 3-5 years of experience supporting customers with components/interconnect solutions
- Expertise in High-Speed Interconnect solutions
- Displayed experience providing product marketing and sales technical support to produce design wins
SKILLS:
- Ability to effectively communicate across the engineering and managerial functions of a business
- Strong, professional organization and presentation skills
- High level customer service and ability to build relationships with customers
- Modeling tools - Solidworks or Pro E
- Microsoft Office Products
The base salary range for this position is $110,750 – $148,870 USD annually. In determining rate of pay, Amphenol considers a variety of nondiscriminatory factors, including but not limited to geographic location, relevant industry experience, qualifications, skills, and education. It would be rare for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a given role. Base salary is one facet of Amphenol's total rewards package which includes participation in our comprehensive benefits program with medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day 1, vacation, sick leave, personal days, paid holidays, life insurance, short/long term disability, and matching 401K. Our Field Applications Engineers are also eligible to participate in an annual incentive bonus program and provided with a company vehicle.
