Position Summary: Manufacturing Production Technician 1

Location: Hampton, NH

AICC, a division of Amphenol, is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.).  Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM’s globally.  Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Production Technician- level 1 to join our team.  The position will be located in Hampton, NH.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Manufacturing Production Technician I will be responsible for performing tasks associated with producing high quality products in a timely and safe manner; in preparation for shipping to the customer.

  • Prepare and assemble materials, build product subassemblies or final assemblies, plate product

  • Test and inspect products or subassemblies for functionality and quality

  • Set up and operate production fixtures and tools in accordance with good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures

  • Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to engineering prints

  • Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety and environmental compliance

  • Clean production equipment, products, and work areas

  • Measure and record data associated with products

  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

    Full-Time, first shift position, M-F working 8:30-5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week, with overtime as required. This job operates in a lab/manufacturing setting. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.  Computers and machines are used.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

  • 1- 2 years’ experience in manufacturing industry

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Physical agility

  • High level of hand/eye coordination

  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings is preferred

  • Physical requirements-
    •  

      Ability to lift and or move up to 25lbs

    • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision. Must have depth perception and ability to adjust focus
